Rustic Adirondack Resort
Family Owned and Operated
At over 100 years old, this Adirondack hotel on the north shore of Big Moose Lake offers the same hospitality, by the same family, as it did when it opened in 1904. Unlike many resorts today, we still operate on the American Plan, serving three meals daily. Guests have their meals in a central dining room while staying in one of our seventeen cottages.

Leave the cooking and cleaning to us.
We believe that a true vacation means not having to worry about cooking, cleaning, or planning. That's why we take care of all of that for you. The Waldheim has remained American Plan, which includes three full meals daily. Breakfast boasts many choices including the best pancakes in the Adirondacks served with real maple syrup. There are two choices of entrees for lunch and dinner served with homemade soups, breads, cakes, and pasteries. Picnic lunches can be prepared upon request.
