For more than 100 years, this Adirondack resort on the north shore of Big Moose Lake offers the same hospitality, by the same family, as it did when it opened in 1904. Unlike many resorts today, we serve three meals daily. Guests are served their meals in a central dining room while staying in one of our seventeen cottages. The Waldheim offers families a place where they can disconnect, in order to reconnect with each other.
We believe that a true vacation means not having to worry about cooking, cleaning, or planning. That’s why we take care of all of that for you. Your stay at The Waldheim includes three full meals daily. Breakfast boasts many choices including the best pancakes in the Adirondacks served with real maple syrup. There are two choices of entrees for lunch and dinner served with homemade soups, breads, cakes, and pastries. Picnic lunches can be prepared upon request.
The Waldheim is a seasonal resort open from late June to Columbus Day.
